Quiet Story
The steeply raked front windshield, roof racks, side mirrors and other key elements were sculpted to reduce drag and wind noise. Some of the improvements that reduce noise, vibration and harshness are: increased body stiffness; increased instrument panel stiffness; aerodynamic design; carpet underlayments; extensive body sealing, and more. The Cherokee, including the Sky Slider™ roof, was extensively tested in Chrysler's state-of-the-art Aero-Acoustic Wind Tunnel for maximum slipperiness.
